• Bumble and Bumble Model Project - Signing up for B&B's Model Project is as easy as filling out a two minute online form, however, you do need to go through a selection process and live in the NYC area to be able to receive these free cuts, coloring or styles. If you are in the Big Apple, this is a great way to save big. All services are 100% free (sometimes include free hair products) and are all provided by professionals (with at least two years of salon experience) who are apart of this advanced training program at B&B. 
• Regency Beauty Institute - This professional beauty school (currently in 14 states) seeks public clientele for their "superstars in training" (aka. students) to practice every service from color to cuts and nail care to skin care. You can book a salon haircut for $9+ or a mini spa package (including specialty facial, shampoo, style and makeup application) for $35+ 
  
• Craigslist - If neither of the schools above are in your area, a quick search in good 'ol craigslist should do the trick. I've often found great deals under the "Services > Beauty" or "For Sale > Free" sections where local beauticians seek new clientele for a fraction of the price if not free.
• Beauty School Directory - Find a beauty school in your area and ask about being a volunteer client....their students have to practice updos and manicures on someone, why not you?
