Free New Music (part II)


It seems that free music may be a new trend in marketing for companies from social networking sites like Myspace, incorporating playlist sharing and local concert info in their newly revamped Myspace Music, to free single Tuesdays by iTunes. But I could see the power of free music marketing has reached a new level when I stumbled across downloadable freebies at shabby chic clothing chain, UrbanOutfitters.com. UO is currently offering it's online visitors free downloads of 21 random but great indie tunes to inspire you while you shop in a playlist dubbed "LSTN#2". Can we expect more free tunes to come?
